Red-tailed hawks has a thrilling raspy scream that sounds like a raptor should sound. Red-tailed hawks typically put their nests in the crowns of a tall tree.
They use their talons to catch and kill their prey. They eat mice, rabbits, rats and other animals. Red tailed hawks eat small mammals and rodents. They tear up meat with their beaks.
