Objective: describe the basic anatomy of a bird including its feathers, beak, wings, tail, warm blooded nature, hollow bones, beak, talons, gizzard, egg laying nature, and eyes

Rubrics were used to chart student skills in group work, writing, and clear presentation skills during lessons six, seven, and eight. Since these are not skills that were pre-assessed at the beginning of the unit, an accurate growth chart is not available.
